The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customised using a specialized application. You can save your home's maps and organize cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, as well as the amount of water your mop uses.
A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms, while an obstacle avoidance function prevents it from running into wires, furniture or other pet toys. These features are crucial in my home, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, which is why it naturally comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop in one session, and it can even raise its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from becoming damp. It also can avoid obstacles by looking for pets, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is more than any vacuum we've test so far. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has mop lifter technology that will lift the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.
Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. This means you can set it and forget it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it began to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids that I've test.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only downside is that it's expensive. But its abundance of features makes it a very tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to ditch their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its price is justified by its impressive features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed well across the home. It was able to remove 98.4% debris on any type of floor and managed to lift long hair without getting caught up in. The mops were also great in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the primary selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, refills the tank with water to use for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid mop I tried. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features it still requires regular maintenance. The base station must be emptied as well as the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to note that the mop pads that are bought separately, are required to be replaced on a regular basis too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. For those who are on a budget, I suggest considering an easier model that allows you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could find, its high cost and frequent maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot vacuum and mop that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It also comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself while moving and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean to rinse off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the robot and it is supplied with a continuous supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. While it spins, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being then pumped into a larger storage container. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water, and can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
Like many robot vacuums and mop combinations like the S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This is easily done using the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to the dock. If you choose this feature however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.
Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on larger pile carpets and rugs in my tests, but this may be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum. However, it has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The software that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mop to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.
The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just like the other Roborock models we've evaluated. Its navigation system is efficient by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in an organized manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a space, with no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well too, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.
The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be a problem for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up" at the conclusion of each vacuuming session. You can make use of the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition, and it helps the robot get rid of a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
